One week after Pope Francis made his rounds throughout Manhattan, Advertising Week kicked off in New York in true industry style – from the streets of Advertising’s mecca, Times Square. Creatives, brand marketers, press, spectators, and industry alums alike attended session after session bringing along their laptops, phones, tablets, and a thirst for knowledge and networking.

Panels, debates, and monologues ranged from ad blocking, hidden messages and pre-rolls for panels to agency talent, social media, TV, and the power of influence. Our event, Stories of Creative Invention, saw eight inspiring guest speakers take to the stage and discus what it means to be a creative engineer, writer, hacker, producer, and poet. As the conversations flowed, those in the audience couldn’t help but feel captivated by the #PWWStories.

On top of our Stories of Creative Invention session, several Project agencies also participated in panels including:

  • Partners + Napier & MiniBar – How the on-demand, convenience-first world of delivery now features booze with two pioneers who have been a part of the trend since the beginning, again featuring Sharon Napier sharing the stage with her Director of Business Development, Mallory Diamond of Partners + Napier.
  • ARGONAUT & Fitbit – A discussion from two start-ups who are growing and managing to no lose themselves along the way, featuring Katie Miller, Head of Brand Management and Rick Condos, Co-Founder & Chief Creative Officer, both from ARGONAUT.
